NEW MUSIC ANNOUNCEMENT

I’m really pleased to share that my new EP, The Island, is on the way.

The project has taken on a life of its own recently. To celebrate both the original mix and the live version being featured on the Stages Programme on Radio Northumberland, I’ve put this special EP release together, adding a brand new downtempo chill-out remix to the tracklist.

The story behind the title track is quite a personal one. Following a really relaxing holiday in Crete, inspiration struck on the journey to the airport, and I ended up sketching out the entire foundation of the track on my mobile phone while en route. It captures my feelings of changing from the warmth of being on holiday to back to reality.

The EP features three distinct versions exploring that feeling from different angles:

The Island (Original Mix)– The definitive electronic cut, bottling up the sun-drenched atmosphere of the Mediterranean (to be broadcast on Radio Northumberland).

The Island (Live at Sunderland Klang EMOM) – A raw, hardware-driven version recorded live at Sunderland Klang EMOM in May (also to be featured on Radio Northumberland!).

The Island (Sunrise Remix) – An downtempo, chillout reimagining tailored for the early hours of the morning.

From a quiet mobile sketch on a Greek bus to the airwaves of Radio Northumberland and the energy of a live hardware set in Sunderland, this project has truly come full circle.
